I believe my large chainring is worn out, and didn't last as long as I thought it would. With a new chain it is noisy and looks like the teeth are worn, thin, pointed, etc.
I'm thinking about some FSA Pro Road rings as a replacement instead of spending bigger money on original equipment replacements.
Any comments on fit, quality, other options, etc.
Thanks

They'll work, so long as you get them for a compact fitment.

Ok. TA has lots of rings and I believe you on the quality.
Is it the Syrius rings that I want? 110mm BCD.
I like the black color. They are not as inexpensive as FSA but not as much as the ugly and expensive Shimano originals.
Can you get them? and how much for a 50 and 34. 34 only to match because it's not worn out, don't use it much.

Have silver, not black. I'm at home but I think about $55 for the big, $45 for the small...

Thank you for the reply.
If you get a chance, while back at the shop, could you check the prices and style. I am new to the TA rings. I believe the Syrius is for double sets and black only and the Zephyr is silver and for both triple and double.
Anyway, it's function first but aesthetics on my titanium LeMond are also important. I have Shimano FC 700 cranks that are generic polished silver.
Thanks

TA chainrings are beautiful and pretty much the standard for aftermarket chainrings. Second place probably goes to Stronglight. They make some nice 'rings, too.
