-Bill Clinton was the US President. -The US and French Government were close. -Al Queda was a niteclub in Beirut. -SUV's were in the minority in the US. -Backstreet Boys were on the charts. -The Stock markets were at astronomical heights! -Thomas Voeckler was fresh out of the junior category.
