Ever wonder why so many (also U.S.) tourists come to Amsterdam? They
want to try legal marihuana, legal prostitution and a society that
thinks more pragmatically than paternalistically. Personally, I couldn't
care less if prostitution or soft drugs are legal. I don't have a need
for either, but it sure helps to decriminalize the people involved. They
pay taxes and get healthcare benefits like everyone else, and don't need
to do their business in shady corners.

Ehm, make that five weeks of paid vacation in my country, unless you
work for a company that allows you to buy more (I got ten weeks the last
couple of years), but that's on top of paid sick leave, of course.
