last thursday night while riding home from the dirt crits at westgate park, i'd accidentally left my helmet's rear light off - leaving only the seatpost light going...
at the intersection at the end of footscray rd (by the servos), a lady in a silver car called out to let me know that i "wasn't all that visible". she then confirmed that my helmet light was off and that it was much better after i'd turned it on.
she said she was a cyclist herself...
