well, i've got a stupid question i think, but i'd like to be sure:
because training stress score (tss) is an invention of trainingpeaks, it's not integrated in the srm-analysis-software and the srm doesn't show it on the display (ergomo does).
if i use srm with the wko+ software of trainingpeaks, i think it will calculate tss, if and so on as well? i mean: this feature is in the software, the powermeter doesn't need it itself?
sorry, i'm a little bit confused because i'm thinking about selling my ergomo an buying an srm but i really love the tss-feature and don't want to lose it.
TSS (and NP) can be calculated post hoc in software or real time in harware, as long as the device or program has licenced the use of the term TSS.
You can also do it yourself if you like, as the formula to calculate NP (and hence TSS) is not difficult to set up in Excel and is available in the public domain.
WKO+ of course has this already built in and will calculate NP/TSS and everything that flows from it, automatically from downloads from any power meter that WKO+ will accept data from (which of course includes SRM).
