Specialized makes some wireless computers, and now that I
work at a bike shop, I can get a good price on them. Any
recommendations for those or other brands are welcome.

I had the exact same question a year or two ago, and I
agonized over the decision and ended up buying the
Specialized Speedzone Pro. I was lucky and got it at my LBS
for 70% off. The MSRP was originially $99 from Specialized,
and they had it on sale for $29.99, so it was really quite a
bargain I thought.

It's a great computer, and I'm really, *really* happy with
it. Never had a problem with it, and the batteries seem to
last forever. The one thing about it I like the most is the
inclinometer. I love being able to see the
% of grade on the road while I am riding. Solves those
% 'which climb is
steeper' arguments, and really puts things into perspective.
The altimeter seems to work fairly well, too. Normally, I
don't like Specialized products, but this one was right on
the money. The extra wireless mount costs $24 from
Specialized, IIRC.

I am, however, seriously eyeing that new Mavic computer now.
Wireless cadence might win me over the inclinometer.

I bought the Vetta RT88 for my gf's road bike, and that
seems to work fairly well for her, although it doesn't have
cadence, altimeter, etc. like the Specialized does. She's
happy with it, and it was pretty cheap, too, IIRC.
