I've been using a Wipperman stainless steel 10-speed chain (presumably
the wider non-Shimano specific) for about a year on a Dura-Ace 12-27
10-speed cassette. It runs quiet and shifts smoothly.

Yes, the Mavic/Wipperman 10s chain, works fine BUT the rear der ajustment has
to be spot on or it will be noisier than the DA 10s stuff is already.
