I'm planning on doing a bit of cycling round Ieper/Ypres/Wipers this summer, the idea is two of us will be doing some WW1 touring. I understand there is a map produced by the local tourist board specially for cycle tours of WW1 sites, unhelpfully though you have to buy it in Ieper itself; they won't send me one prior to our trip. Does anyone here have a copy of this map I could borrow or buy? Or any route details?
Thanks in advance,
Tony B

Thanks in advance,
Having a Flemish father, I felt embarrassed and ignorant when I read you post.
I visited Ypra on Google Earth and saw much to educate me.
There may be enough information for you to construct a sketch map or route plan.
Click on "bestel nu", then "naar de kassa". Great Britain is in the list of countries.
Nice one! Their server seems to be having a bit of trouble right now, but I'll keep trying. I thought it was only available at the tourist office; the lady there didn't disabuse me of that notion when I phoned.
