  1. I live in the middle of no-where and hence do not have access to a local gym.
Can anyone recommend a "Training Bible" Prep/base exercise routine that does not require weights?!? I have been looking into bands and swiss balls, does anyone have any experience with this?

Gavin, you don't have to be near a gym to exercise. Get out on your bike, do press-ups, sit-ups etc. Basically use your body weight as your load - different lifts will help to achieve this.
I do a bit of indoor climbing, but the nearest wall is 40 miles away, so whilst I'm walking the dog each day I climb trees and lift rocks to help with upper body strength. It certainly makes an otherwise daily 'chore' more interestnig and helps me to keep fit at the same time. Even the dog doesn't seem to mind - he gets to be out of the house for longer. 😄
