  1. I found an online source for my favorite A-111 Carhartt 88% wool sock,
    that ended the cold-foot problem for me

    They do get eaten by moths pretty badly in the summer, if you don't
    protect them, on the tops. The foot-part seems to be unaffected.

    Highly effective for warmth.
