    Kind of a weird ending to the Clásica de San Sebastián, with Adam Yates apparent not even sure he had won--he debut first class victory!

    Van Avermaet had crashed out ahead of him after being clipped by a chaser motobike. And TV coverage had dropped. So I guess he was not sure he had the lead at the line. Kind of funny to see him crossing talking on his phone trying to work it out.

    Any way, a good win for the Brit and great performance on the climb when he cleared the pack.

    Meanwhile the chaser vehicle guy might be getting his ass sued: bbc.com33751788
