I've just come back from a really fun Muni ride, in a very strong wind,
unusually strong for June anyway. About 5 months ago when we last had
wind like this my ability didn't enable me to make the most of such
conditions, no such trouble tonight though. The lean and stuggle to stay
on in a cross wind creates its own unique challenges, riding into the
wind it felt as if I was turning a gear that I would on a two wheeler in
such conditions and with the wind behind me it felt as if my legs were
being turned for me, the stresses of the day were certainly blewn away
by that ride. So if anyone is putt off going Muniing because of high
winds I would say give it a go, Great fun.
