  1. Hi if anyone is competing at Windsor this Sunday in the full distance race
and is interested in the km splits I've tried to work out roughly where they
should be courtesy of map 24 de.map24.comde.map24.com

(last year they weren't indicated on the course - I guess it
would have been too difficult and potentially confusing as
it was a 3 lap course and as there were also sprint distance
runners competing on the same roads?)

    anyway here goes...

1k just after Riverside Station by cross roads before 2nd
turn point 2k before 3rd turn point - just after church
close and Post Office on left and before Nat West Bank 3k
after crossing windsor / eton bridge at right turn taking
you back to turn point at the end of lap1 4k at the bottom
of the hill with the castle on your right just before long
left hand bend. 5k after crossing w / e bridge for the 3rd
time just after first road on the right (stable street) 6k
same point on way back towards bridge (ie just before stable
street on left!) 7k at turn point at the top of the hill
beside castle. 8k just after you pass riverside station for
the last time 9k after Barclays bank before Nat West on your
way back from final (Eton Chapel) turn point.

obviously check it out if you like but I make that 10k back
    to the finish line.

good luck to all fellow competitors,

    Kevin.
