  1. Is Lance still "in remission"? Is this the event that doesn't get discussed that happened just
    before the Tour?

One won't know for a while, but I've thought the same thing...is there something we don't now know
that is affecting him, or is he just having an "off" tour, or is there some grand plan that has him
playing possum until <insert stage number here>...Yes, there are other very strong riders in
contention, but it is plain that as yet we've not seen the LA of the past four tours...

I agree, and this is why I made the post about age related decline. He's definitely off his form,
and has admitted as much with several very frank statements in recent interviews, but he doesn't
seem to know what the hell is wrong.

A few people said its possible.. from the ages of 30 to 31 years old.. to go from total domination
to survival tactics, but I don't buy it. Definitely something else is going on here.

Hopefully its just his intestinal problem.

  4. Well put. Must he win by 5 minutes to convince the doubters? He only needs 1 second and the way its
going, it may be cery close. This is a very exciting race and more interesting than the past few.

Can't anyone accept that he isn't going well and that's it? He may get

Its crazy to think that he couldn't be different from last year. Lots or

I don't buy it that he doesn't know what's wrong. He and CC monitor power output over a wide enough
spectrum to know whether he is below previous years output. This is something that isn't going to be
broadcast. Win or lose, I think we will hear about it after the tour is over.
