  1. Can anyone recommend a brand or specific model of road shoe thats suitable for a wide foot ?

I've tried a couple and they seem fine and comfortable until you've had them on for a few hours.

I'm on a budget so mid-range recommendations are prefered

    Northwave.

  4. Try Sidi, some of their models are designated "Mega" which are wider than their standard sizes. I have wide feet also and Sidi's are the only brand I'll wear. I have a pair of Dominator 5 for mountain biking. They make Mega versions of the Genius road shoe.
