  1. I ask myself that question everyday, becaise at one point in my young life I
decided that it might just be easier to get people to come to me when life
got hard. That sounds harsh doesn't it, it hurts to say it, hear it, feel it,
but I feel authentic. One day I won't have crohns anymore, just like my
friend you healed herself without meds to get to the bottom of it, WHY DO I
CHOOSE CROHNS. We make choices all the time people.
So, if you choose the Molo Cure, be proud that you did something to try to
help yourself, or get your help somewhere else, and still be proud that you
    did that.
The price is steep, and thank god that I still have parents who are alive to
help, or I would be in the street right this moment.
I have not made the decision yet, just remember that whatever you do, you do
it with conviction and you won't be sorry, and yes the price is steep. I'm
Canadian, so it's WORSE FOR US.
I've worked in pharmaceuticals, and 95% of the docs are so bombarded with the
the latest drug that they have a quota to fill...they are pressured to, we
    all know it.
Ebrace the life you have, I know it's hard, crohns hurts like mad. Sometimes
I think the pain has changed me. Move forward all the time, take the pain
and yell if you need to.
WE LIVE IN A CONSUMER'S SOCIETY, so DEMAND info if you feel you deserve it.
It's trust we are all looking for isn't it, so just trust every decision you
make and keep demamnding bettter from the people around you, AND ESPECIALLY
FROM YOURSELF, because, as we can read it's not a couple of trials that will
convince someone who knows what pain feels like.
THEY SHOULD AIR IT ON THE NEWS IF THEY STAND UP FOR THEIR PRODUCT AND IF THEY
    BELEIVE IN RELEIVING PAIN.
    Thanks, Moira

  2. Moira,
Usually these posts are on the alt.suppoort.crohns-colitis newsgroup.
I have a layman's theory on the cause of crohns, quite unpopular on the
    colitis group,
because of its strangeness but if you will listen and relate, your crohns
will no longer be a mystery to you and I hope to others. Knowing the cause
will keep you one step ahead of the illness and can negate the illness too.
I had a website for years, but aol did something with it, so the explanation
becomes tedious so will make it short and concise.
Crohns is caused by someone you know, friend or family, who happens to be on
a stimulant and this situation transmits crohns to a vulnerable person by
mind/body connection. It is a manmade illness and no one is aware of the
process. The strangest part is that the two (or more parties do not have
to be in the same room for you to have the symptoms, you can be miles and
miles apart, the mind connection is at work.
Stimulants are marijuana, cocaine, anti-depressants, buspar, depakote,
Xanax, st johns wort, kava kava, and the list goes on. All the
anti-anxiety drugs. Only Valium or Ativan do not cause crohns as true
tranquillizers. Either ask them to cease the drug (rarely will they) or
cease your connection to them and when you are no longer mentally connected
you will be fine. Problem is, as you say, pharms push drugs and
anti-depressants are the most likely and frequent, so it is a lifes work to
sort out the people that use them. But you can have control and that is
    what counts.
Too much to say to go further, so hope you and others will benefit.

  4. = Crohn's Disease

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The most serious bacterial disease of cows is caused by mycobacterium
    paratuberculosis.
Mycobacterium paratuberculosis causes a bovine disease called
    "Johne's."

Cows diagnosed with Johne's Disease have diarrhea, and heavy fecal
shedding of bacteria. This bacteria becomes cultured in milk, and is
not destroyed by pasteurization. Occasionally, the milkborne bacteria
will begin to grow in the human host, and irritable bowel syndrome and
    Crohn's results.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"It is reasonable to conjecture that M. paratuberculosis may be
responsible for some cases of Crohn's disease."

    Journal of Clinical Microbiology 1992;30(12):3070-3073

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Johne's disease and Crohn's disease are remarkably similar in clinical
    signs and intestinal pathology."

    Hoard's Dairyman, January 24, 1995

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Of 77 milk samples (taken from cows with Johne's disease), 11.6% were
    culture-positive (contained M. paratubercolosis)."

    Journal of Clinical Microbiology 1992;30(1):166-171

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Mycobacterium paratuberculosis was isolated from tissue taken from
patients with Crohn's disease and is implicated in the etiology of this
    disease."

Journal of Clinical Microbiology, 1993, May 31(5)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Mycobacterium Paratuberculosis crosses the species barrier to infect
    and cause disease in humans."

    J Hermon-Taylor, British Medical Journal, Feb 1998.315

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Mycobacterium paratuberculosis is capable of surviving commercial
pasteurization, when there are more than 10 bacteria per millilitre in
    raw milk."

    N. Sung, Applied and Environmental Microbiology: 64(3), Mar 1998.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Mycobacterium paratuberculosis RNA was found in 100% of Crohn's
disease patients, compared with 0% of controls."

    September, 1996

  5. The MAP theory has been tossed around for so long, it would have merit if
it actually cured anyone. It is full of holes. The cows aren't
responsible for this one. Crohns can break out ANYWHERE in the body,
head to toe, eyes, brain, heart, feet etc etc. so how can you figure its
the cows. IT IS THE STIMULANTS WITH A MIND/BODY CONNECTION THAT IS THE
CULPRIT. If you can find a hole in that theory, not by saying it is
unscientific, not by saying it is impossible, not by saying ANYTHING, but by
    observing it accutely.
The IBD children can be cured instantly as most instances the mother is on
am antidepressant, and cessation of the drug will bring normalcy to the
child. (If no one else on stimulants is close to the child). No one
will undertake this simple test, because no one wants to be associated with
such a strange cause. Well, the illness is strange and NEVER will another
cause be proven beyond a doubt. No one here will live to see a cure to the
cause unless research is rerouted. Do you really think Dr. Burrill Crohns
could have missed MAP or the other nonsense theories as cause.
He was too smart for that.
