WTF are chainrings so damn expensive?
I would've thought that manufacturers have pretty much got figured
out how to make chainrings inexpensively by now. I mean they're not
exactly high-tech even with all the ramps and pins.
Surely it must be profiteering?
It seems impossible to get road chainrings for less than about $120
a pair. Surprisingly BBB chainrings are actually more expensive
than Shimano too.
Am I missing something?
