Which Ultegra Cassette To Buy

You buy the one with the cogs that suit your gearing needs. The 12-27 gives you wider gaps and lower gears for hills. What someone else needs or uses may have nothing to do with what you need.

You have a few questions to answer. Are you riding in an area with lots of rolling hills or in the flat lands? How strong a rider are you? etc...

This question has too many variables to give a concise answer. Do you have many hills where you ride? Do you have a triple? Do you plan on racing? Do you have knee problems? Gearing choices will depend on your riding style and goals.
