Hello,
I just joined this forum, and I'm new to bicycles in every aspect...
I've been a "car" commuter for almost all my life, and finally jumped in the pool and fixed my old mountain bike, and here I am!
However I need to ask questions, perhaps really very "dumm" for guys as experienced in bicyles as most of the members of this forum.
Which section should I use to ask my silly-stupid questions?
As there isn't any "Section for Dums" here, I adventured myself into here.
My first question is about the "frame" sizes. I was thinking of buying a second hand road bike, but I've seen many different frame sizes; I am 175 cms tall, and the guy in the bike shop where I fixed my old mountain bike said I should look for a "48 cms" frame road bike.
Is this correct?
Also, is there a website, or recommended book edited in Australia, where people like me could get the basic information?
