which road bike to buy?

I would think the 1500 would work good for you. It's a good bang for the buck inho. Good luck on your triathalon.

hello, i am riding acroos the country this summer, and although i am not a very experienced cyclist.....i was having the same problems as u are, i am only 5 ft tall, and could not find ANY frame that fit me.
i really wanted trek 520 but they dont make a small enough one...anyhow i landed up buying a Specialized Vita, which is similar to Dolce just a little bit less expensive...and it is really really amazing, i have never ridden a bike that fits me before this one...i usually only really like steel frames, and this frame is aluminum with a carbon fiber fork and seat post...it is also the lightest frame that specialized makes...
anyhow i really like it so if you're having trouble finding a frame that fits the specialized dolce and vita are pretty rad...i think so anyhow

My wife is 5'4 and uses a trek 1000wsd. She's a beginner so the bike works out great. They put a pretty short stem on for her, because her torso is pretty stumpy as well. The guy we dealt with was only around 5 feet and a pretty avid rider so he was able to work with us and find a great fit.
