I have a client who went in for othroscopic knee surgery 6
wks ago. Right after his surgery his calf blew up with
pressure. His dr. said he had acute anterior compartment
syndrome. They went in and slice open either side of his
calf (med. and lateral). It's hard to the touch and needs
to be worked on. His dr. isn't pro-massage and currently
he is going to PT. I have suggested he receive MLD. I
haven't done too much work with compartment syndrome. Any
help or advice you could give me would be helpful.
Sincerely, Wendy Lee, LMP
