  1. I'm beginning to shop for another computer with an HRM.
The features that I would like to get are:
    - Speed (current, max, & avg)
    - Trip Distance
    - Odometer
    - Split distance (I'd really like to get date for several points along
    our club rides)
    - Elapsed Time (how long has ride ride been)
    - Split Time for each split
    - Clock time
    - Current Heart Rate
    - Average and Maximum Heart Rate
    - Calorie Consumption
    - Dual Tire Sizes

The split distance and timer is really key to this search. Plus I'd
like to get feedback about how well the models perfom in bad weather
(my current brand X HRM goes haywire below 30°F). Plus I'v seen a
friend's Polar (# ???) show that he was putting alot of miles while at
    the breakfast stop.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

The Polar S150 has all the features you list except calorie consumption.
$80 at Performance. I've had one for about one year and I have been pleased
    with it so far.

I see that temperature is not on your list - is that not important, or
do you measure it some other way?

    Probably with one of these.

  5. I check my outdoor thermometer before leaving the house.
