Hey, Im not sure if this is the right spot to be posting this, I hope so 😕 Anyway, Im just about to get a new bike which ill pretty much be using to ride to Uni on (which is just basically on roads and up a few hills), and some off road stuff, but no serious Mountain Biking. I've had a look at a few bikes and come up with these two:

The main differences between them is that the BoulderSE is 24Spd, and has front shocks whereas the Upland doesnt have shocks and is only 21Spd. My budget is around the $400 mark, so the BoulderSE is at the upper limit. Basically I was just wondering if I would need the shocks and extra speeds for what I want to use it for (which I said at the start 😉 ) and whether it would be worht paying the extra ~$100 to get that stuff. If anyone knows of any other bikes that are similar and could be good for what I want them for, please post it 🙂 What I really want is 24Spd without shocks, but I haven't been able to find any bikes that are set up that way.

Oh Yeah, and the Upland comes in a much better colour, all silver, looks very nice :P
