I have a set of Shimano 600 single-pivot sidepull calipers, which I like because they have a wide arch with lots of clearance for fenders. Unfortunately, one of the calipers is missing the original hardware for anchoring the brake cable, and none of the bike shops around here (Westchester County, New York) have a replacement brake cable anchor bolt.
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement anchor bolt, or at least a slotted washer? The calipers take an odd-size bolt: the hole is 6mm in diameter, and the bolt would need to be about 20mm long. All of the anchor bolts I have seen for sale on-line (biketoolsetc.com, the Third Hand) are too short and too skinny. By the way, the back of the caliper arms are stamped "57".

You might check The Third Hand/Loose Screws:. thethirdhand.comthethirdhand.comOpen ↗ they usually have some odds and ends. I think a couple of the guys here supply them too.
