Hi, After a ten year cycling fast I am just about to begin again. I've rejoined the CTC and once I've made sure the bike/s are OK and suitable clothing bought I'll have some gentle, flat, riding and gradually build up.
Unlike my last foray into cycling I might/will join my nearest group, Essex DA South East group. (the 13/11/05 run looks to be a good one to start with as I used to ride around that area regularly.) I just need to know where Halls Corner is, not being too familiar with Wickford. I can't find it in local maps and AA route web site doesn't know of it either, I guess it's a locally used name. Is it at the junction of the High St and London Rd?

Plenty of references to it via Google, one of them ought to put you on track. It is opposite the police station, so ask a policeman (if you can find one).
