I am far larger than the average cyclist (6'4" 285lbs). My road bike has some basic rims on Shimano Deore hubs. Lately, the back wheel keeps coming out of true. I've had to get them put back together 3 times in the last 2 weeks.
My question is this: What are good wheelsets for strength that don't cost a fortune. I'm not worried that much about weight. I just need them to stay together for more than 50 miles. Thanks
How about putting threadlock on the backwheel spoke nipples.
If that dont work get a set of 32h or even 36h mavic rims like Open Pros or CXPs as they are bullet proof. Have them laced with straight gauge spokes (14G) and apply threadlock on the nipples.
