Certainly doable, Wiki's are pretty starightforward for setting up and are available in just about every technology in use on the web. I seem to recall there's a static text version which works off of web forms.

One thing that needs to be known is what scripting engines are available from the web host. Perl, php etc etc. Once that's known it's simply a matter of choosing the correct wiki engine, getting initial content up there in the right structure and away you go.

On that initial content bit; that's quite important. It's important to create a good strucutre with relevent content in it. In the absence of relevent content, place holders can be used although ideally they should be avoided.

In agreeance here. Should have some 'mental downtime' over the silly season to consider & research to a aus.bicycle orientated wiki.

On that, get a few of us together with a big sheet of paper (A1/A0) and

That, with a bit of refinement, should give us a good structure. Then
it's up to people to write some content. I can do some, sure others can
as well :-)
