  1. I'm looking at getting a new set of wheels and would appreciate any ideas. My riding consists of recreational road riding (including a couple of century rides in the summer). The geography around the area is hilly and the road surface is smooth with some chip seal. I' around 165 pounds in weight. The style of wheels I'm looking for are the traditional silver finish as opposed to the black which is becoming more popular. Any suggestions?

    Cheers

  2. Well, first tell us what rig you're currently riding ......

How much are you hoping to spend - Mavic Aksium come in silver, have a good reputation, well priced, and sturdy, but not super light - pobably ideal for recreational rides. Or you could go up to Ksyriums.

  4. For general riding/training a pair of Alex 300s for about $135 USD can't be beat.
