  1. Looking to build new wheels.
    Front..... 24, 2 cross
    Rear.......28, 2 cross non-drive side, 3 cross drive side.
    I've found a book with a 3 cross pattern, but not a 2.
    Are there any books that show a 2 cross pattern ?

    You don't need a book. For each side of the wheel, Step 1, install all the spokes in one direction (7 spokes in the rear wheel). Step 2, insert the first spoke of the other direction such that it crosses exactly two spokes. Step 3, install remaining spokes in the same pattern.
