  1. bikerodnkustom3.homestead.commoontrikebuild.html using lycra. I see some immediate problems
    with this technique, but perhaps with some mods it could be done. First thought was the braking
    surface was not good, but if you used disc brakes, that would not be a problem. But adjusting spokes
    or truing the wheel are no longer possible!

    You're right about the spoke problem. Maybe they're figuring that the disks are cheap enough to
    re-do if necessary. From what I read, the trike has only a coaster brake on the rear wheel; so, as
    with disc brakes, it's not necessary to keep the rim surface clear.
