  1. I have a flite 300 that needs a replacement BB.

    is the size of BB on road bikes fairly standard?

    looking at buying one of these, will it fit?

    Just use the same bottom bracket shell width and spindle length as your old one. The shell width should be printed on the BB somewhere (or it can be measured), it's probably either 68mm or 73mm (there's also a 70mm Italian width that has a different thread but I'm all but certain that your frame doesn't take that size). You can just measure the spindle to get the length in mm and buy one with a spindle of the same length.
