I have marzocchi forks on 2 of my bikes and for the price I paid I think they're great. If you have the cash, I hear Fox forks are IT but they're not cheap. I had some Manitou TPC sx's a few years ago and they were ok to good... not sure what the new ones are like though.

Marzocchi ERX Pro, it was $300-375, but it works great and it has 105mm of travel.

Thats a lot better than the fork I used to have on some cheap mountain bike, that fork had about 30mm of travel😄

You didn't add RST to the list. I suspect there are more RST forks out there than any other brand.

For the same money, you probably have one of the best shocks. Unless, of course, you include used shocks. BTW, the sucking noise means it's working properly. If it stops, then you know something is wrong.
