The fattest smooth-treaded one that will fit under the
brakes and between the chainstays. A little extra cushioning
in the tires will save you a lot of fatigue. A cyclocross
frame like that will probably take a 700x38 slick.

Here is a fast and very inexpensive one that would be
excellent if it fits:
