Just got home with my new Roubix comp double and set it next to my old trek 2200 the seat and bars are the same hight. I have not rode it outher then in the parking lot of the dealer but I dont see what will make it more comfy on a long ride. I know that I sound like a moron but what makes it a plush bike?

It's something you won't feel just going around a parking lot -- the benefits are apparent about 30-60 minutes (or longer) into a ride. You know that really nice feeling when you're riding on a road that's perfectly smooth, and you could go on like that forever? In a nutshell, these bikes are made so that more roads feel more like that.
Basically, the frame has been designed to soften the blow of all the road imperfections. It doesn't remove the impact of bumps, it just makes them a lot more bearable. Each crack or seam in the road, or slightly dodgy road surface, may only be a small bump, but when on a long ride they all add up.
