What length steerer do I need?

  1. I am thinking about building up a frameset I have. The headtube measures 132mm and I will use a
    Shimano 600 threaded headset with a 1" threaded carbon fiber fork.

    What steerer tube length would work best and how much of the top would need to be threaded?

    Minimum you need is 169mm(132+37 for the HS) but I would add 11mm for a pretty standard 180mm
    steerer...
