I was an unusual kid. Most 12 or 13 year olds spend their money on
candy or snowcones or McD's. I used to go to the supermarket and buy
bottom round steaks (they were the cheapest) and eat them raw. My
parents always cooked beef at least med well, if not well, and I loved
raw beef.

Nah, every now and so often, I have not agreed with him. For instance,
he states expresso is a cheap drink, made of the most inferior type of
beans.

I have a Saeco Encanto S series expresso / Capuc. maker. It delivers a
wonderful expresso with a thick head of crema and wonderful coffee liquor.

I appreciate that drink after dinner. He obviously has no taste for this.

What can I say. Colors were invented for various tastes.

I know the feeling with other programs.... I reverted to an ancient
form of Agent (news reader) because I hated Agent v4. I didn't need
the upgrades and didn't want them.

Why don't companies make a practice of archiving all the older
versions so that people who PAID for them (and were satisfied with
their version) can reinstall them when their hard drives bite the
dust? I wouldn't even mind paying a nominal fee for an old version
that is tweaked to work with the newer platforms (*don't* assume I
want more bells and whistles - and please don't assume I want
integrated software). I hate to think about this version of Agent and
trying to use it with Vista....

Fast aren't they. One way to catch them is to dangle a big stick in front
of them. They snap at the stick and latch on hard enough that you can pull
them out.

We once caught a huge one in the pond on a friend's farm. It was so big
that it would not fit in a large wheelbarrow. He held onto that stick hard
enough that we were able to stretch his head out far enough over a log to
chop it off. That pond was our swimming hole and that guy was big enough
to bite off a toe or two.
