  1. On the bottom of my last echocaridogram report it says,
among other things, "Much of the septum, especially towards
the apex, is dyssynchronous, likely related to a conduction
defect. I do not think this represents true hypokinesis."

I hope one of the doctors who regularly posts to this group
will explain in laymans terms just what hypokinesis is.

Also, since I'm still waiting to hear back from my doctor on
this question, I may as well ask here if there would be any
reason why a person shouldn't take Lanoxin (digoxin) by itself--
that is, without taking a diuretic and an angiotensin-
    converting enzyme inhibitor?

The reason I've ask my doctor about this (but haven't yet
got an answer) is because there seems to be something about
my system that diuretics and now the angiotensin-converting
enzyme inhibitor cause me to feel very ill--as if all of my
energy is being sucked out of my body.

Thank you very much for any help you can give me.

Hypokinesis describes an area of the heart that is not
moving well. When we see an area like that, we wonder if
    there is damage here.

Digoxin can be taken by itself with your doctor's blessing.
