  1. Stalkers are not nearly so destructive of a newsgroup as a troll. All of my
stalkers have been more or less intelligent and not scoundrels. But a vile
stalker can ruin a newsgroup for many members if not all.

Vile stalkers are almost always into sexual innuendo and the grossest
obscenities. This will only bother gentlemen and otherwise civilized beings.
Most newsgroups can press on regardless of the most vile stalkers.
Nevertheless, they take away greatly from a newsgroup. Mostly they can be
gotten rid of because they are using vile language and they do not have the
intelligence to engage newsreaders which insure their anonymity. Their ISPs
will not stand for too much vile language.

I have had many stalkers and that is the price you pay for Greatness like
Mine. Stalkers are like pesky mosquitoes which buzz about your head, but
they never do any damage since they are ultimately ineffectual. Most soon
tire of these wearisome rounds, but some seem to go on forever. As far as I
am concerned, if you do not have at least one or two stalkers, then you are
    not posting anything worth reading.

I once was on the point of stalking Tom Sherman of ARBR, but I drew back
when I realized how reprehensible such conduct was. He is entitled to his
opinions just the same as I am. Nay, I had far too much pride ever to engage
in stalking no matter how tempted I was. All stalkers, without any
exceptions whatsoever, are insecure persons who cannot take contention. They
are more to be pitied than condemned.
