I put 1inch slicks on my full suspention bike for a century and a bunch
of people called it a hybrid. What exacly is a hybrid.

A hybrid bike is designed for road/light trials riding. It has thiner tires and usually only <80mm front suspention. Usually I find older people are riding them and they by no means are fully's.

Hybrids also usually have pretty high handlebars to give you a more upright riding position.
