I don't think that will happen. The majority of Iraqis despise the UN for letting them twist in the wind under Saddam all these years, not to mention the UN corruption of the oil for food program.

What if the U.N. stopped "free loading" off of the USA?

What if the U.S. stopped handing out money to all the 3rd world countries and let them just duke it out?

What if the Americans just put on those little Powder puff blue helmets...would the world feel better? Would those pretty helmets scare the insurgents away?

I've got one. What if the U.N. had gotten off their lazy butts instead of counting their loot and stood behind their resolutions and risked their pencil thin necks in the first place? Then according to your theory, there would never have been any insurgents...right?:p
