I fear the worst, but does someone know for a fact if the B sample was also non-negative? Also, was the rest of the Milanezza team tested during the Tour of Romandy? They were all flying like demons, so I find it hard to believe that Francisco was on something and the rest weren't.
Noel The Milaneza team had several problems throughout last season with positive drug testing. David Bernabeu who finished sixth overall and won a stage at Paris-Nice has been banned for one year (until next July) and Rui Lavarinhas has been banned for six months for testing positive in the Portuguese national champs at the end of June.
Bernabeu has had his Paris-Nice results expunged from the official records on the UCI site while Francisco Perez is still his two stage wins and third overall to his name on that same site, so perhaps he has not been banned although there is no results to his name since the Tour of Romandie.

Yeah they didn't even notice getting into spectatorless car traffic amidst team buses, during what was supposed to be the final kilo.
