My letter to Sabrett. Has this happened to anyone else?
You guy just ruined my dinner.
I opened a pack of your dogs that expire Sept.. 22 (Today is 8/21) and
they were coated with a slime that has the viscosity of snot. Before
you say it was just that pack, I open the second pack that I purchaed
the same day (same exp date) and guess what? SLIMY HOT DOGS again!!!
Talk about sick I almost threw up just looking at it.
So I decided to search the net and found another post from 2004 about
slimy sabrett hot dogs:
Just purchased Sabrett Skinless Beef Frankfurters at Publix in
Florida. The sell by date was Oct 8. These hot dogs are coated with a
"slimy Goo" that washes off. Just ate one, it tasted OK. Any body else
have this unique problem? Ernie Kinney Aug 22, 2005 02:34PM .
So from 2004 to today you have not done a thing about it.
I guess the love affair is over and no one there cares about quality
and tradition. I'm not wasting another penny on Sabrett Hot Dogs
again.
