  1. Now that Simoni lost another hour or six today (okay, 33 minutes), how long do you suppose it will
    be until he abandons? Other than dwindling screen-time for his sponsors, there doesn't seem to be
    much reason for him to continue the punishment. He had a great ride in the Giro and could obviously
    now use a rest.

    Yes, he might as well go home and try to recover in time for the Vuelta.
