newb here. after being away from cycling for a little more than 20 years i've decided to come back. the last time i was doing all my riding i had a custom made steel bike with down shifters. now that i'm shopping around there are so many choices that, honestly, its overwhelming. i've never heard of the majority of the brands. however i've been reading quite a bit lately. looking at what is available, i want some opinion from you guys. i'm thinking of just going with a brand that i know off. if they've been around for this long i guess they are doing something right. plus the prices that they have are within my budget. im thinking of a cannondale supersix. never ever ridden a carbon frame what can i expect from it? any good or bad stories would help me alot.
everything has change today in terms of interchangeability, back then it was easier to buy parts an upgrade your bike, if you want to make your life simple just buy a complete 2013 bike, yes Cannondales are still a top brand. What all brands have in common nowadays is that they offer very good options in every price range,
