Just come off a metro cycleway, late evening. Interesting experience of
having another cyclist coming towards me, he had a main headlight and to
the right of that a slow blinker light. At first glance I took it that
he had an indicator light on and was indicating right.
What would some motorist waiting at an intersection for him to pass
think? Pull out, he's turning now ?

think? Pull out, he's turning now ?Was the blinking light orange? Probably not. FWIW, I use my single
flashing LED along with my 5W low beam at night time, mainly cause I
switch my low beam off when I can see the path clearly to conserve
battery power and still want to be seen. Of course, when I'm on the
road at night, the low beam stays on.--
