I'm looking to replace a mid nineties Campy Record rear derailleur for a full Record ergo 8 speed drive system. There is nothing out there, even on ebay. I put a Campy Veloce on but something is wierd about the chain length or tension but it's noisy to shift after I've adjusted it up. Maybe I haven't fully explored it? My question is, are there other derailleurs that would work with the older ergos, maybe Shimano something? I want my old bike back on the road, relatively quiet and smooth the way it used to be. Dream on?😕
