Is it really necessary to spend a small fortune on accessories for a budget electric bike when the bike itself is already a compromise on quality and performance? Ive seen people shelling out hundreds of dollars on fancy GPS units, high-end lights, and sleek water bottle cages, but are these accessories truly essential for getting the most out of a budget e-bike?
Cant we just stick to the basics and get by with cheaper alternatives? I mean, a budget e-bike is already a cost-effective option, so why not keep the cost savings going by opting for more affordable accessories? And whats the point of having a top-of-the-line GPS unit when the bikes motor is only going to take you so far?
Im not buying the argument that you need to spend big on accessories to stay safe or competitive. A decent set of reflectors and a basic helmet are all you really need to stay safe, and if youre racing or competing, then maybe you shouldnt be on a budget e-bike in the first place.
So, what do you think? Are the accessories that come with a budget e-bike enough, or do you really need to break the bank to get the most out of your ride? Are there any accessories that are truly essential, or is it all just a bunch of hype and marketing nonsense?
