On Saturday morning, bright and early (8am) the Unfit Family turned up at the Velodrome for Nathan
to join in the three hour track session with Eastlands Velo. I have to say, Nathan had a great time.
He was welcomed by the club (as were Vernon & I) and he had a great time on the track. He had fun
and received some good coaching on track skills from the guys running the session. Much appreciated!
In time trialling (which is what Nathan mostly does as it's most of what goes on in Norfolk during
the warmer months) it's a big no-no to hang on to the back wheel of the rider in front of you.
Nathan has had this drilled into him. It's different on track, however and Nathan had to develop a
whole different mindset on this. The coaching he had was of much benefit and enjoyed as well as a
learning experience for him.
At the end of three hours on track, once we got in the car to head home, Nathan was asleep within 10
mins of getting into the car.. heh ;-)
So a big thank you to Eastlands Velo for being so welcoming and it was great to see so many kids on
bikes having fun.
