wetsuit for Disney half ironman?

Is a wetsuit really needed for the swim at Disney's half ironman? Anyone with personal experience in
that race?

In late May the water in all but the biggest Central Fl lakes will probably be pretty warm.

In late May the water in all but the biggest Central Fl lakes will probably be pretty warm.

I just joined the forum and will be doing my first half
Any developments on this issue?
