  1. I GOT SOAKED!!!
Just had a cycle round the Pentland hills (two hours or so)
was fine and sunny at 7am a bit overcast but nothing
spectacular at 9 am (when I set off) but by the time I had
cycled into the hills it was spitting, half an hour later proper
rain (which was getting in my eyes [couldn't find my sunglasses]
, making the brakes not work etc). Was in a silly wee T-shirt
(will have to invest in some sort of long sleeved T-shirt/cycling
jersey)for the start but I put my waterproof on this kept the
worst of the rain off (untill it to was drenched) but provided
    no warmth whatsover.
Am feeling more human now have had a shower/bath,
lunch, then a sit about/read/tidy. Everything I was wearing
is either in the hall drip drying or in the washing machine
as it was all wringing wet.
Knew I shouldn't have had a day off today.

The rain arrived a bit earlier than forcast today but I missed the rain this
morning and it had cleared before I went home this afternoon.

    Did you see any grouse?

A dead one three days ago on the B7031 just
    before Kirknewton.
Today I saw lots of homicidal sheep with lambs
    but no grouse 🙁
